Good morning. I'm Allen from WNC. I have a pinch over 4 decades of UAS experience starting with single channel planes and moving up over the years to jets, giant scale planes, collective pitch helo, and of course MultiRotors. I still own and fly CP Helo and such but planes are what I truely love to fly. I fly something almost every single day either inside or out. I have a pinch under 2 decades of flight time as PIC in manned aircraft. I don't fly manned aircraft nearly as much as I would like to. Hopefully that will change in the future though.
Our company operates sUAS in NC, SC, TN, GA, and VA collecting data for various companies utilizing DJI and other brands of sUAS. Our main bread & butter is Commercial Construction and Real Estate but our passion is in Search & Rescue. I work with our local county Emergency Services under our Sheriff's Office as a Technical Specialist or aka Drone Guy. I also teach at the local college UAS Theory & Flight Skills as well as I travel around the Southeast teaching Public Safety officials UAS Flight for their departments.
I look forward to delving into this new forum learning and occasionally being able to contribute to the group
