When this little gopro sized camera came out, it was like oooooo a new drone camera
big sensor, raw, fast frame rates, but......... no 4k onboard
great raw 4k to a recorder but no on board

Well now it starts to make sense, this is more like the black magic micro studio.
For the goodness to really happen you need an external recorder. Which would be great if someone could figure out how to make one of those tiny enough to fit on a drone

I've been following this camera for the obvious reasons. My guess or hope rather, is that a subsequent version will have the ability to write the data internally and that they use the full 20 megapixels that the sensor is capable of. I would love to build a rig around that camera if they ever get it tweaked.

With that news, I suspect they are going in a different direction though.
