If you have an HDMI out on your controller all you need is a long HDMI cord and a monitor that has an HDMI in port (and power for the monitor, of course). If you find a monitor with only the SDI in you can pick up a little adapter box that will convert the HDMI to SDI.

I have a P+. Are you saying that I can plug an HDMI cable into my controller
and put a picture into the HDMI of a field monitor? Or is the "HDMI Out module" something I have to install?

I'm not familiar with that system so I can't say for sure. If the controller has HDMI out you can do exactly as you stated. If it does not then you'll need to add an HDMI Out module if one is available for your controller.
