FAA approval of operation without on site pilot or spotter

https://www.engadget.com/faa-approves-first-commercial-automated-drone-flights-192554778.html This is a interesting read. The waiver and decision discussion are vary enlightening. The operations are limited to class g geofenced areas only and the craft must be inspected by a 107. My first...

FAA Release NEW rules for UAS Operations

The new rule states “Broadcasts remote ID messages directly from the UA via radio frequency”....correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the dji aeroscope solution broadcasts from the operators controller. So they might have to come up with some type of work around.

FAA Release NEW rules for UAS Operations

When it comes to the broadcast signal.... I don’t see any real specifics yet regarding signal type or method. Seems perhaps us with dji products already have the ability to broadcast to AeroScope. The hardware may already be in place just need the software to update to be compliant. Dji already...

The good, the bad and the ugly- Remote ID Proposal PRM

Well put. They fail to understand that in class G any manned aircraft can go wherever whenever they want since they are not required to transmit ADS-B or in be contact with ATC. The only way to avoid conflict with another craft is to have line of sight and see and avoid.

The good, the bad and the ugly- Remote ID Proposal PRM

that article states “For additional safety, drones will fly at low altitudes (for example, below 400 feet) so it would be very unlikely for them to be in the same airspace as aeroplanes or helicopters.” Um.....helicopters can fly at any altitude. “because it will connect via the internet, LTE...
