    First Condo Promo Video

Nice work. My only observation is the very opening title. It’s shame you didn’t split the words, rather than the screen - a little bit of the ‘L’ from links goes left, would have been better not to have done that imho... other than that, nice flying! Cheers, Martin.

    Skydio

Hi Al, As always - thanks for the quick reply! The DJI range has made flying so accessible for guys like me who have come to flying relatively recently. It’s a shame that powers much further up the chain than I have declared them persona non-grata & whilst I understand the reasoning behind it...

    Skydio

Afternoon all. So, with DJI kit becoming non-usable with the MOD over here in the UK, I need to turn to a platform made outside China. We currently fly the usual assortment of DJI platforms, from the Mavic 2 Pro to the Inspire Pro - so I need something that will compete in terms of fly-ability...

    New UK regulations EASA

Whilst not disagreeing with you as you’re obviously a lot more qualified to know these things than I - the M2P controller does have a physical switch to go between Sport/GPS/Tripod mode. In my 5 years of flying things have changed so much & this just seems to be the latest in a line of...

    CAA audits

So the CAA are going to start auditing UK PfCO holders. Make sure your paperwork is up to date & that you do everything that you say you do in your Ops Manual, people.

Take off and landing on cruise ship (while its navigating)

I flew from a small boat whilst in St Lucia last year. The take off was fine, but you have to be pretty switched on when it come to landing - it’s not something for the unskilled/faint of heart. The boat will be pitching and rolling even in relatively calm seas and this can really mess with the...

    PfCO sorted for another year

I wouldn’t have thought it’ll be long (assuming it’s a renewal rather than a new submission). Even with a couple of tweaks the process was pretty painless. Since they switched to the online system last year it’s become so much easier/quicker. Hope you’re sorted soon.

    PfCO sorted for another year

It was pretty quick, as I say it was a renewal rather than a new application, but even with a couple of amends it took less than a week.

    PfCO sorted for another year

Happy to say that I received my renewed PfCO on Friday for another years legal flying. I’m still amazed at how many stories I hear of people who ‘chance it’ and fly without insurance or CAA permission.

    Cold weather flying

    It was a fun shoot!

    Cold weather flying

Just my experience. Earlier this year I flew for a client in Northern Sweden only A couple of hundred miles outside the arctic circle. It was so cold the sea had frozen as you can see in one of the pics. It was -31 centigrade when we first got there, but by making sure my P4 Pro was kept in...

    Mavic 2 Pro motor specs

Hey all - so I am about to resubmit my PfCO here in the UK & need one last piece of info for my ops manual. Can anyone tell me the motor size on the Mavic 2 Pro? it was 2312s on the Phantom 4 Pro, but I cannot find this info anywhere for the Mavic. Any help you can give would be appreciated...

    Delay in UK registration

So, I’ve been trying to register for the last 4 weeks & the Dronesafe website is now saying that there is ‘short delay’ (pushes back a month) for the registration. Why/how do governments find it so hard to implement a strategy once it’s been decided on? It just causes hassle & as my PfCO is due...

    Visual line of sight ?

I’m assuming that the VLOS rules are different in the US, in the UK we can legally only fly 500m away from the pilot in any one direction anyway.
