I received my first LAANC authorization to fly within 5 miles of the Hillsboro, OR (Class D) airport. Do I also need to notify the airport of my flight plan or does the LAANC authorization satisfy the need to notify the airport? Thanks!

No. You've complied with what's required. Anything beyond is a courtesy.
No, the LAANC system does that for you. What the tower personnel would appreciate is a phone call when you are finished so that they can stop adding "Warning, drone activity x-miles, y-direction at z-altitude" to their ATIS broadcast.
