My name is Ed
I've been on the DJI and Yuneec forums for a year or so but just joined this one today.
I am a Land Use Planner.
Geographer.
Cartographer.
Photographer
And Project Manager, at a Civil Engineering firm. My UAV endeavors here include autonomous aerial imagery resulting in DTMs, DSMs, 2 and 3D mapping with and without ground control for various civil engineering designs such as roads, sewer, water, park, land development projects for private as well as Municipal clients. I am 107 certified.
I'm in search of the perfect software for these types of projects and have had some success. Hoping to learn a lot here.
I fly a DJI I2 with x5s and learned on a Yuneec Q500 and other smaller UAVs.
Searching for more accuracy in topographic mapping.
