Just for kicks, I drove over to a known Class D airspace area earlier, to test out the LAANC authorization via AirMap. Planned my flight in the app, clicked submit, and within seconds, received a text stating "Automated FAA Controlled Airspace Authorization Accepted........." Pretty sweet!
This particular airport is super easy to deal with when you call, but it's good to know that now all I need is to submit via the app. Super easy!
